The Christ has come into the world to save us
From what?
Ourselves: We are fallen
We are ignorant of the force which created us
Or if we ever knew, we have forgotten
We search, and search, and search and find it not
It is there but we cannot connect
Where is the Love? It eludes us except in peepholes here and there
Intoxication gives us a taste
Orgasm gives us a taste
Mindfulness gives us a taste
Most give up. Some continue the search.
Perhaps it is in faith that searching will succeed that we find what we are looking for right within our hearts all along.
