Jesus said the kingdom is not up there, but it should be right down here. What is the kingdom of God according to Jesus?
It is the acknowledgement of the inherent worth and dignity of every person. It is justice, equity and compassion in human actions. It is the acceptance of one another and the encouragement to spiritual growth of one another. It is world community with peace, liberty and justice for all, and it is a respect for all of creation, the interdependent web of life of which we are a part.
