Of course morality changes over time based on the norms of society. Even killing is condoned and considered moral in war, capital punishment, abortion, physician assisted suicide, self defense, etc. Police officers have been able to kill black citizens with impunity which gave rise to the black lives matter movement. Lynchings in the south were publically condoned and celebrated up to as late as the 1950s.
ReplyDeleteDonandl Trump is a a master at fraud, cheating, and lying and he was elected President of the United States. People who wouild insist that morality is not socially constructed are not being honest with themselves and others.
