He understands her and looks out for her in very loving, sensitive, and caring ways and yet continues to pursue his own life falling in love, getting married, and reassuring Virginia that he will always be there for her and that rather than shutting her out, his intention is to broaden the circle. There is a grace here that is outstanding especially in a young person who is wise beyond his years. The film is worth watching just for this aspect alone, and yet there are many others.

Thanks so much for bringing this film to the attention of your readers.Kevin Andersonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8647562459433740241.post-78017463049135025972014-06-14T21:32:48.536-04:002014-06-14T21:32:48.536-04:00This film is comedy, albeit, dark comedy, and part...This film is comedy, albeit, dark comedy, and part of the pathos is the hypocrisy. Virginia has an innocence that is infectious especially when she asks the Mormon boys for their blessings. Thanks for recommending this film. I did enjoy it very much.Susan Schmidtnoreply@blogger.com
