Creating a UU congregation from scratch

The St. Petersburg Times had an interesting article on March 8, 2008 about how the Unitarian Universalists in Florida are letting Floridians know about the Unitarian Universalist faith. Above is a postcard they are sending out.

Here in Brockport, NY we are building a congregation from scatch. We are in our second year and hope to have our Charter Sunday in March or April of 2011. We need 30 people to become founding members. Yesterday we began our campaign and had 8 people sign up to become founding members of the Brockport Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.

As a congregation we have a lot to offer each other, and the Brockport community. Organizing ourselves to provide it is a joyous challenge. Please pray for us.
