Dress up on Sunday for Black Maternal Health

What would love have me do?

The ego can keep you in exile from the Kingdom, but in the Kingdom itself it has no power. T-5.IV.3:4

A Course In Miracles

There is no me, myself, and I in the Kingdom. There is no place for the ego in the Oneness. All that exists in the Kingdom is the unconditional love of God.

In Unitarian Universalism we covenant together to affirm and promote the interdependent welb of all existence of which we are a part. The interdependent web is the whole enchilada, the Oneness, the Transcendent Source of everything where there is nothing.

Today, it is suggested that we purify the ego by giving up conditional love for unconditional love. In every instance we can be mindful of what love would have us do.

Share a joke and a song.

Every loving thought held in any part of the Sonship belongs to every part. It is shared because it is loving. Sharing is God’s way of creating, and also yours. T-5.IV.3:1-3

A Course in Miracles . Foundation for Inner Peace. Kindle Edition.

A loving thought is the rock thrown into the pond which sends ripples outward towards whatever the ripple will encounter.

In Unitarian Universalism we join together to affirm and promote the acceptance of one another and the encouragement to spiritual growth. The encouragement to spiritual growth is an act of creation.

Today, it is suggested that we share a joke or a song with people we encounter during our day.

Rest in the nothingness of Oneness.

The Atonement must be understood as a pure act of sharing. That is what I meant when I said it is possible even in this world to listen to one Voice. If you are part of God and the Sonship is One, you cannot be limited to the self the ego sees. T-5.IV.2: 11 - 13

A Course in Miracles . Foundation for Inner Peace. Kindle Edition.

Jesus refers in the above passage to the non dual Oneness in the face of which the ego is an illusion.

In Unitarian Universalism we covenant together to affirm and promote the interdependent web of existence of which we are a part.

Today, it is suggested that we clear our minds of all thoughts and rest in the nothingness of the Oneness.

Seeking Oneness giving rise to peace and joy.

Nothing that is good can be lost because it comes from the Holy Spirit, the Voice for creation. Nothing that is not good was ever created, and therefore cannot be protected. The Atonement is the guarantee of the safety of the Kingdom, and the union of the Sonship is its protection. The ego cannot prevail against the Kingdom because the Sonship is united. In the presence of those who hear the Holy Spirit’s Call to be as one, the ego fades away and is undone. T-5.IV.1:5 - 11

A Course in Miracles . Foundation for Inner Peace. Kindle Edition.

If we are to increase our spiritual intelligence, it is necessary to purify ourselves of our egos. The things of the world of the ego are illusions and will never bring true happiness. True happiness, joy, even bliss, is to be found in the non dual Oneness of our Transcendent Source which is called “the Kingdom.” The healing of the separation of ourselves from our Transcendent Source is called the “Atonement.” The Atonement is the healing of the separation which includes not only our individual self but all of humanity which is called the “Sonship” which is part of the Transcendent Source which some call “God.”

In Unitarian Universalism we join together to affirm and promote the free and responsible search for truth and meaning which eventually brings us to the Atonement. The sooner the better some might say. What facilitates the awareness of the Atonement is forgiveness and taking responsibility for our state of mind.

Today, it is suggested that we set all our worries aside and quiet ourselves as we go inward seeking the Oneness which is the source of our peace and joy.

Set the ego aside and abide in the truth.

Truth is beyond your ability to destroy, but entirely within your ability to accept. T-5.IV.1: 4

A Course In Miracles

From the postmodern viewpoint there is no truth. Truth is a social construction. In the world of the ego this idea is accurate, but in the world of Spirit it is false. The truth is unconditional love of creation.

In Unitarian Universalism we covenant together to affirm and promote the free and responsible search for truth and meaning and truth and meaning have been there all the time beyond the world of the ego. This Truth and meaning can’t be destroyed, but it can be overlooked, denied, ignored, distorted, feared, and resented. However, if we continue to search for it in good faith, we can come to a point where we can accept it. After all, It is what It is.

Today, it is suggested that we set the ego aside and abide in the Truth.

The Unconditional Love for one another.

What fear has hidden still is part of you. Joining the Atonement is the way out of fear. The Holy Spirit will help you reinterpret everything that you perceive as fearful, and teach you that only what is loving is true. T-5.IV.1: 1 - 3

A Course in Miracles . Foundation for Inner Peace. Kindle Edition.

We have forgotten that we separated ourselves from the non dual Oneness at our incarnation. It is our separation that has made us fearful for the survival of our bodies and our egos. The fear of survival has contributed to conditional loving and it is only unconditional loving that is true. The Holy Spirit will help us remember our non dual nature and fear will evaporate.

In Unitarian Universalism we are the beneficiaries of the teachings of Unconditional Love. These teachings are part of our Universalist heritage. The belief and faith in Unconditional Love can be amplified if we share it. UUs covenant together to affirm and promote the inherent worth and dignity of every person who are extensions of God’s Unconditional Love made manifest.

Today, it is suggested that we acknowledge that beyond our egos we are perfect as extensions of God’s Unconditional Love for one another.
