Teachings of Osho is a regular feature on the UU A Way Of Life ministries blog which appears on Tuesdays.

Osho has said, "Man's feet are pointing to hell and his head toward heaven. Heaven and hell are both his potential. Which of these two seeds bears fruit is entirely up to him."

A Course In Miracles teaches a similar idea - that there is right mindedness and wrong mindedness and the mind that gets to choose.

At UU A Way of Life we call wrong mindedness the path of the ego which is based on conditional love and right mindedness is the path of the spirit which is based on Unconditional love.

The fourth principle of Unitarian Universalism is the free and responsible search for truth and meaning. Will this search take a person further on the path of the ego and conditional love or onto the path of the spirit and unconditional love?

Osho tells us, as does A Course In Miracles, as does Unitarian Universalism, as does Jesus and all the great spiritual teachers that the choice is ours and the results of our choice take us to heaven or hell.
