WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—New evidence uncovered over the past several weeks indicates that intelligence is not contagious, a study by the Centers for Disease Control reports.

In a controlled experiment documented by the study, a seventy-nine-year-old man with intelligence was placed in close proximity to a seventy-three-year-old man without it for a period of several weeks to see if even a trace of his knowledge and expertise could be transmitted.

After weeks of near-constant exposure, however, the seventy-three-year-old man appeared “a hundred per cent asymptomatic” of intelligence, the researchers found.

  1. Jesus was frustrated with the Pharisees and tells them they are looking at the finger not the moon. They don't get it. They are looking at things literally when they need to consider the Spirit of the wisdom being conveyed not get sunk into the literal interpretation of things.

Another way of thinking about this, is that Jesus is telling the leaders of the day that they are stupid. They are syncophants and pat each other on the back all the while missing the point.

Trump and his syncophants are telling people the coronavirus is fake news, no big thing, things will be back to normal soon to protect their financial markets while overlooking the fact that a major health pandemic is underway and thousands are dying around the world. Trump and his folks don't just getting it and it is a dying shame. Jesus was telling the Pharisees the same thing but at another level.
