When you meet anyone, remember it is a holy encounter. As you see him you will see yourself. As you treat him you will treat yourself. As you think of him you will think of yourself. Never forget this, for in him you will find yourself or lose yourself. Whenever two Sons of God meet, they are given another chance at salvation. To meet anyone and have it be a “holy encounter” the person must have a non judgmental attitude.
In Unitarian Universalism some of us join together to affirm and promote the acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth.
Today it is suggested that we interact with others on two levels: first we must take care of whatever business the world of the ego requires from us and second we can bless the other as our brother and sister and make our encounter holy.
