It is a time for a renewal of spirituality in Unitarian Universalism. For too long Unitarian Universalism has abandoned its function of nurturing spiritual development in favor of social justice agendas. An awareness of Unitarian Universalism and other religions' basic function in society, to nurture and facilitate the development of spiritual intelligence, is long overdue.
