One of the things I got from Uncle David's letter is how deep communication around the aesthetic can lead to mystical experiences. I feel more at one with God in nature than in any other place.
Fall is coming and I like to hunt. Being in the woods in my tree stand and watching the wild life makes me feel like I am in heaven. If I can harvest an animal for food for the winter, I give thanks for the wondrous bounty of Mother Nature. If I come home empty handed, I still enjoy the awe of the experience.
