Lesson # 110
I am as God created me.
Before the separation we all were part of the Oneness. We were the Ocean and then decided to become droplets. In our separateness not only from the Ocean but from other droplets we have forgotten from what we have emerged.
In the eleventh step of Alcoholics Anonymous we seek through prayer and meditation to merge back into the Cosmic Consciousness by giving up our willfulness and being willing to align our own will with what we believe Love would have us do.
In Unitarian Universalism we covenant together to affirm and promote the respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part and it is in this respect that we also affirm and promote the inherent worth and dignity of every person.
Today, I will take five minutes every hour, and as often as I like, to remember that I am as God created me, One with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and all my brothers and sisters throughout the world and in all time.
