My Self is ruler of the universe.
St. Paul writes in his letter to the Corinthians, “If God is with you, who can be against you?” And that is the lesson today in A Course Of Miracles.
When we bring our will into alignment with God’s will things start to flow with peace and joy. No more suffering and insanity. When our will alone is in charge it is a shit show.
In Alcoholic Anonymous it is suggested in step three that we turn our will over to God. We give up willfulness for willingness and the whole world shifts into a miracle.
In Unitarian Universalism we covenant together to affirm and promote the love for the interdependent web of existence of which we are a part. The question is whether we are promoting God’s interdependent web of existence or our own version: what we think it should be, what we want it to be?
Today, we should step back and ask several times “What is God’s will here?” A little hint is that God’s will is the loving thing and it will bring peace and joy.
