Watch carefully and see what it is you are really asking for. Be very honest with yourself in this, for we must hide nothing from each other. If you will really try to do this, you have taken the first step toward preparing your mind for the Holy One to enter. Jesus offers to help us claim our natural inheritance: the unconditional love of God. He states that we must be honest about our desire and willingness to give up the ego and its belief in conditional love in order to maintain and aggrandize itself in favor of the Oneness of our Transcendent Source. It is a choice that we can make at any time. It is not forced on us because we have free will. It’s up to us. How long will it take, or what will it take, for us to give up our wrong mindedness for right mindedness?
