Lesson #255
This day I choose to spend in perfect peace.
I have two choices, my will or God’s will. Today I am choosing God’s will. Today rather than tension and anxiety I am choosing peace.
In Alcoholic Anonymous, in the third step, it is suggested that we turn our will over to God as we understand God. Why? Because we will feel better and our lives will flow more peacefully. What would Love have me do?
In Unitarian Universalism we covenant together to affirm and promote a love for the interdependent web of which we are a part. It’s not my will but the will of the interdependent web of existence that be done.
Today, whenever you are tense, anxious, angry, fearful, guilty, turn your will over to God’s care and unconditional love.
