To love my Father is to love His Son.
The metaphysics of A Course In Miracles never ceases to challenge and amaze. Today’s lesson is based on the idea of the Oneness, nonduality. The “original sin” of homo sapiens is that we separated ourselves from the Ground of Our Being when we created our egos. We think we are separate when we are but drops of the ocean and if we hate the other drops of the ocean, we hate the ocean itself. That is messed up.
In Alcoholic Anonymous, it is suggested, in step twelve, that we share what we have received from the program with others and thereby reinforce and enhance what we ourselves have received. We learn what we teach. Right?
In Unitarian Universalism we covenant together to affirm and promote the acceptance of one another and the encouragement to spiritual growth. Kewl. Right?
So today be kind to everybody. In doing so we pay respect to their Creator who is the same Creator who created you. You, and your Creator, and they are One. All for one and one for all.
