I have already chosen what You will.
Our existence is God’s will or we wouldn’t be here. We have forgotten this or denied it but that doesn’t change the fact that at an unconscious level I have already chosen what God wills.
In Alcoholics Anonymous it is suggested in step three that we make a decision to turn our willfulness over to God’s will. When we let go and let God peace and joy come into our lives.
In Unitarian Universalism we covenant together to affirm and promote the inherent worth and dignity of every person recognizing that their life is an extension of God’s will for them and for us in knowing them.
Today, it is suggested that we remind ourselves that we are here only because of God’s will and realizing this, our existence and experience is evidence that we have chosen what God has willed for us.
